Welcome to the Jerry Falwell Library.                 

As a student athlete, you have a lot to balance between your classes, practices, and sporting events. The Library is here to help! Our goal is to support you with your research endeavors and assist you in effectively finding and using the resources at the Jerry Falwell Library.

This Research Guide will give you resources and tools to help you become a more efficient researcher.  The databases, books, e-books, media, and websites listed in this guide will direct you to comprehensive and scholarly resources for your next research paper, project, or presentation.                                                       


How to Use this Guide

This research guide provides valuable information that will help you be successful in your coursework, no matter which degree program you are enrolled in. Whether you are on campus or traveling with your teammates, the Jerry Falwell Library can offer you vast resources and research support.

  • Use the tabs at the top of the guide to go to the information you are seeking.
  • If you need specific assistance in a subject area, please select the Databases tab and locate on the left side of the page the box labeled Guides by Subject. Here you can select a specific area of study. Each of our Subject Guides has contact information for a librarian specializing in that area.
  • On each page is a floating “Ask Us” box which will bring you into a live chat with a library research consultant.
