Welcome to the BIBL 110 course research guide!
This page assists you in using the library effectively to complete the course's research assignments.
If you have any questions about library materials or divinity resources, please contact the liaison librarian (info below).
First Steps to Success
Always carefully read the assignment instructions and make sure you understand them. Contact your instructor for any clarification. Many times you will be told how to organize your paper, and what information sources you may, or may not, use. The course assignments for BIBL 104 require the use of academic sources. Wikipedia, although a viable source of information in some instances, is not a credible source to be cited in completing these course assignments.
As you use information sources, you want to be sure to properly cite them. Plagiarism is a serious academic offense with serious consequences, yet it is easily avoided.
The following tutorials will help you to correctly cite the information resources you use. The University's Writing Services offers additional writing assistance, including a list of writing aids on their website.
Need help with library resources, finding other commentaries, or simply navigating through an eBook?
